The META element defines meta information about your page. All the meta information is contained within your document head and is transparent to the browser. This information is useful to such things as search engines and to define hidden information about your document.

Value(s) : content-type | expires | refresh | set-cookie
Specifies what HTTP header to use for the specified meta information.
name
Value(s) : author | description | keywords | generator | revised
Sets the meta information to a particular section.
scheme
Value(s) : the content
Defines a format that will interpret the meta information specified by the content attribute.
